My passion stems from my special animals. I had cared for a dog named Princess which was ultimately diagnosed with Diabetes, Cushing's Disease, had an enlarged heart, and had to have an eye removed from previous injury. In her old age, she became blind in her remaining eye and she lived a very good life until the age of 12. It was the hardest day of my life to let her go and cross the rainbow bridge, but I know I did what was best for her.

The next year, my horse named Booger had a major injury that only left me with minimal options. He was diagnosed with the luxation of his superficial flexor tendon of his hind leg. He would be on stall rest for a minimum of 6 months and then see what happens.

During these 6 months, I felt like there was not easy access to various therapies that I believe would have helped. This has led me to creating Healing Hooves & Paws LLC to provide various modalities of treatments for your furry friends. From maintenance to major injury, I want to help you and your vet with creating a treatment plan for you.
